Re: Things I want, like, now.
Despite the fact that I would probably not buy a carbon road bike unless I had significantly more $$ and space to store a fleet of bikes, this Felt PR with the mid-reach brakes is irrationally speaking to me...
Also, it's mid-winter (read: crap weather) and I have learned what my bonus is but not received it yet. Best to just replace my bar tape and brake pads and have another beer.

Re: Things I want, like, now.
It's a great looking bike. I was having a close look when they were on display at the Tour Down Under. I would only swap the bars out and go hammer it.

Sure, why not? Never know when I'd need to drive through the flower beds or fallen palm fronds to get my kids to school.

^^^Okay, I think that's a pepper grinder. Here's my latest favorite purchase. And it's Shaq approved. What more could you want?

Regardless of how it's marketed ("Gravel"), pretty cool IMO to see a mid-high end off-the-rack bike shipping with 57mm brakes and DA/Ultegra! I would love to see Shimano come out with a 57mm reach variant of their current rim brake design also...

I have no idea what that object is.
I want four of these:

...I finally got my ancient pre-amp refurbished. Now that all the various inputs & outputs work, and I can change the volume without nearly blowing the speakers, I think my baby deserves some new tubes.
Then I can start thinking about replacing my old Grado Signature 8.

I have an affinity for old stock 6N23P soviet era tubes, but if ou want some gold lion goodness (which *is* very, very good), Jim McShane is currently running a sale on exactly these. He is great to deal with, and replaced a 6550 I got from him that was defective quickly and gracefully replacing the pair so they would still be matched.

Re: Things I want, like, now.
I want to watch the UCI Track World Championships, like, now. But the UCI don't consider the US to be part of 'The World', so...

There were just 3,200 people watching it when I got to their YT page. F'ing PATHETIC.
If anyone on Twitter (I'm not) wants to tear UCI a new one about this, please go ahead.

Tbh I shouldn't have to break the law or possibly compromise the security of al my computers to watch some cycling.
I've emailed UCI Cycling instead.

Thanks. But McShane's site was impossible to navigate - I got frustrated and gave up after 3 minutes. He seems to operate like a lot of these tube dealers - just a mish-mash of every tube he's ever heard of.
I got a friend's recommendation to get a set of Matsushita 7DJ8s from Upscale Audio, and that's what I just bought:

I imagine the youtube "not for you" face is modeled on the expression a uci exec gives when asked to think in a new way.
On topic: i want classic 15x7 rallye wheels and new tires for the old truck.

My experience with the old dudes selling tubes and related stuff are much better on the phone, though ymmv.

Too true... But also easier than finding ex-soviet tubes in Ukraine.
In any case, you made an excellent choice.
