Mtb time , a photo taken at Marostica, world cup.
I can not remember the date, the bike was build by Brent Steelman, ciao Brent,
excell tubeset and if I remember right the rider was Don Myra.
ciao Dario, would you consider making an aluminium version of the pogo stick sometime in the future?
cheers,
thomas..
Hi Thomas ,
i am working on a stainless steel version of the pogo stick , at this moment it is just an idea , i have talk with the guys at Columbus , we need to redesign the tools to make the tubes amd another question is to test the bending capabilietes of the alloy .
have a nice day

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooh a 29er updated Pogo Stick in stainless steel with a nice 2x10 drivetrain ... i can already sense my wife's anger at the 2013 AmEx bill!
Dario, I have been a fan of your bikes since I first saw them at Above Category in Mill Valley, CA, where I was visiting from Hong Kong. Saw a Love #3 and a BLE, and was bowled over.
I have a pretty good idea this is a stupid question, but I can't stop myself from asking it anyway: have you ever fillet brazed steel frames? If not, would you be interested or willing to make the experiment?
Thanks for your great work and inspiring creativity, and for participating in VSalon.
hello to everyone, I'm new in this amazing forum and I wish to introduce myself; I live in the Republic of San Marino and I'm a great fan of Dario; I bought his first Day is Done and then I went to visit him at Caldonazzo: he's a wonderful and awsome person, very kind and modest, intelligent , funny and humoristic. As framebuilder, You all know him, so I won't spend any word. I am really pleased and honored to be now his friend. Thanks Dario for your friendship. Keep going!
This is my bike: FISSA|AZIONE: Finalmente la mia 'Dario Pegoretti - Day is done'
and this is my blog: FISSA|AZIONE
Dario,
you know we are all waiting for THAT bike! Too many beautiful singletracks around Caldonazzo not to have a hardtail made by your hands. If you decide to begin a new era of XCR Pogostick 29er, mine will be in the first run. For sure.
Idefix,
a perfect build - Congratulations!
May I ask who made that stem? Dario?
Best regards from Vienna (this is a post from my workplace ;)

That is a stunning DID. The build, and color coordination is spot on..

That DID is looking awesome.
Ciao
I have tried many years ago to make fillet, I must say that is not the same thing that brazed a lugged frame, it is a different work, my result was awful, it was really ugly.
like every thing you can't improvise anything, you can't think to being able to do a good job in a short time, the good jobs require time, dedication, passion and talent so I preferred to focus my attention on what I better. Despite this, i look at the steve garro or dave Kirk work with great admiration, they perform the fillet with an amazing talent.
Ciao

I have that stem from Dazza and it's attached to a Llewellyn frame that Dazza made for me a few years ago.:amuse: The frameset won "Best Paint" at the Richmond show. I have enjoyed it a great deal. Now I am looking forward to a Responsorium from Dario, but first my wife gets one---it's her turn....Dario measured her in Austin, and she should have it soon. Thanks Dario
Franco
Ciao dario, yes correct, is nice to meet you here in the vsalon, now talking about DID, just a short question: also the lugs of the frame are made by Dazza? they are so beautiful...
thanks, buon natale
Another thing that makes me appreciate Dario is that he's able to establish with almost everyone "a link"....i mean, for example, the collaboration with other greatest framebuilders such as richie or dazza....this thing is almost exceptional in Italy where we are more "individualist".....
So here's my question to Dario...which is in your opinion the best collaboration in these years? Don't be shy and tell us....
Merry christmas to everyone here in v-salon!!
