    Default Sebago Triggs Chukka

What say you? Specifically, what would you do if you found them for $35? Is there a place in the world for such a shoe?

High-top Top Siders... I'd rock 'em.

Something about the outsole is unsettling. It doesn't have that traditional boat shoe shape.

If I found those for $35, I'd buy Clarks. Or other Vietnamese knock-off Clark desert boots.

The outsole reminds me or TarraPlana offerings, for some reason. Actually to me it looks better than the traditional Sperry. Also looks like a zero-drop shoe, which I REALLY like.

It is a hideously ugly mongrel. I say no.

Might I recommend the Arrow Moccasin Lace Boot, handmade in Hudson, MA. I have a pair of their boat mocs which are going on three years with no discernible wear except for a few scrapes on the all-leather soles.
