For half an hour I was aliegning up a new frame and just put a bit too much pressure on the chainstay....................bent the cowson and now have to replace it !!!!!!!!!!!! I need a beer!

Welded frame, or brazed frame?
Brazed frames accept such abuse with aplomb, atmo.
