You'd have to look up the specifications, but it isn't an off-road vehicle.

Where were you planning to go?

I suspect yes with lots of dire warnings all of which we should take seriously.

We own site in rural PA and Va. When both states lift discretionary travel restrictions we will pick the safest locale and get-the-heck-out-of-dodge for a few weeks. Both sites are private, isolated and we know the other inmates. That said if I was you I'd not think twice about remote boondocking after your own state restrictions are eased.

Just a bit of monday morning QB curiosity... I love my Taco and it's off road capability, but it does have less camping space than a van would so I occasionally glance down that untaken fork in the road...

Thanks for this, but the river has been crossed... I really love the Tacoma. The plan work as intended. The last thing I need is another expensive project...

    wow.

    2020 Airstream Atlas

Pretty much the opposite of the dirtbag van life

But, unfortunately for most would-be vacationers, it will likely remain a dream, as the Atlas carries a staggering price tag of $238,071.

This is my substitute for pistol and ball. With a philosophical flourish Cato throws himself upon his sword; I quietly take to the bike.

Our landlords here in Hillsdale NY are de-nomadisizing themselves and selling their 31’ Airstream Sovereign International “Land Yacht”. Most of the insides are original including the 8-track player so must be 1970’s. It needs interior rejuvenation. $9500. I can put you in contact if you want to live the dream.

Seems like a decent deal and a project suitable for VSalonistas.

I am camping in a field near my house: hung a hammock, pitched a tent, and brought a chair.

    It's cozy.

Michaux was much busier than expected this weekend. It's about 48 miles from my door to the Pine Grove Furnace sign. Might have to pull off a bike packing trip this summer.

that would make a great bike packing destination. i also recently learned that in PA, primitive camping is allowed in the state forest. so you wouldnt necessarily need to stay at the campground if can find a cozy spot away from the public.
