Disagree. I have been a Truckers fan forever, and an an Isbell fan since he was in the Truckers. The stuff that Isbell wrote for the Truckers is still some of his best, and Decoration Day and the Dirty South are great albums that any Isbell fan should own. IMO Isbell’s older stuff on Sirens of the Ditch, 400 Unit and Here we Rest are his best. I’m not too font of reunions. It’s too bright and over-produced for my tastes. Disagree. I have been a Truckers fan forever, and an an Isbell fan since he was in the Truckers. The stuff that Isbell wrote for the Truckers is still some of his best, and Decoration Day and the Dirty South are great albums that any Isbell fan should own.

+1 I've seen the Truckers around 30 times, most with Isbell. Those were salad days. I saw Isbell last year with Son Volt opening. The latter was better even in daylight on that night. All that said, Isbell is obviously an immensely talented and thoughtful artist.
