I don't usually jump on the latest and greatest, but I was waiting for the flat mount disc brake to solve the congestion problem at the rear dropout for bikes with touring racks, fender eyelets and disc brakes. The whole setup is pretty elegant. Did Shimano come up with it or someone else?
