I dunno. I grew up with the Hope Sandoval version. It's great. But so is the Dinosaur Jr version.
Mileys not "over singing." There's not too many notes or runs up and down scales for no reason. That's her voice. She's just having fun with it. I actually think she did a great job.
I mean. Imagine having that voice and not doing that.

This was playing in the music store when I walked in, and eventually I stopped, asked what it was, and bought it. A great find, imo.
