My Momotaro 12oz Type 2 jacket just arrived today. It was a 44th birthday gift from my wife.
The fabric hand, the slim cut fit, and the deep indigo color, all exceeded expectations. My dad never wore a jean jacket to hand down to me, but I hope one day when my son is old enough, he steals this from my closet and wears it for years to come.

3 billz is super reasonable for that.
These two cats are local to me (one lives 3 blocks away) and unless they hook me up with a true Pro deal, I'll be dropping hints for future Fathers Days. Just can't bring myself to drop over $350.

Atlast & Co/Timeworn, RRL, and Dawson Denim are my top 3 for anything denim, and their raw material quality is superlative. Maybe a bit more 40-50s era than most prefer but something about a perfectly fitted type-2 denim jacket is hard to beat.

can't say enough good things about mister freedom - truly top notch stuff. i have his 10th anniversary indigo N-1H deck jacket, and it's incredible.
attention to detail is over the top. pricey, but long-lasting clothes generally are.
Just picked up a 22 oz black Iron Heart Rider's jacket from ebay for a bit over half of retail, this one https://www.selfedge.com/index.php?r...product_id=554.
Seems to be unworn, and I am really looking forward to breaking it in.
