Israeli/Iraqi bento. Deconstructed sabih (fried eggplant, boiled egg, chopped salad, mango pickle, zhoug), roasted veggies, Asian pear and basil salad.

Wow! When can I come over??? Beautiful food and so much variety, too. Do you make your seitan? I find the process of creating it really satisfying.

I only make my own seitan about 15% of the time. It’s satisfying... but a long process. Often if I have that kind of time I’d rather use it for something else. I’ll make my own when I want something particular out of it, but the options I have around here are pretty good.
