I like this. But my current Citizen is 300m and was $75 less. This one is 200m. Is one perhaps more "honest" than the other?

    Omega Ultra Deep

    OMEGA_Seamaster_PO_Ultra-Deep_side_1000.jpg

Unfortunately to this point Omega will not be making this watch which I find troubling given so many R&D Dollars went into it - personally I have gone as far as directly contacting Omega about purchase and no one has a clue whats happening after all we have to make money it's what makes the world go round for the most part!

For more of the story around this watch:

    I dig it obviously,

That's pretty cool. I've had a Deepsea for a decade and I've never taken it deeper than 11,000 feet, so it's probably overkill.

I'm joking, btw. Anyone who knows me well knows I can barely swim, so my love for dive watches is absurd.

Well this happened. Not sure if it fits the "everyday watch with blue dial" that I was looking for, but price was too good, and I really love the Pelagos...and it's blue. So BB Steel was swapped for it.

I read an article that listed a 4-watch collection:

    Everyday
    Evening
    Weekend
    Splurge

Between the PO, Hamilton, and this Pelagos, pretty sure I've got 3/4 covered. "Evening" will be a toughie to figure out.

It only saw 10,998 meters, but in a couple of weeks, I get to help pull this guy out for a photo shoot with Don Walsh, to commemorate getting to the bottom of the Marianna Trench (almost) 70 years ago.

The blue and black versions are both occasionally on sale on Amazon for about $130. The green dial is a JDM version so it’s a bit more $$.

Blue dial, date function, titanium, and a great bracelet are an amazing combination.

The best tool diver for the money, imo. Love my LHD version, but this blue is stunning in person. Nice pickup.

Finally picked up a Maratac Pilot in the large configuration. It's on the edge of being too big for my taste, but I just really love the design. I fooled around and didn't get one of these when they were for sale and it took awhile to find this one. Has a bit of "patina" but not objectionable and seems in excellent shape otherwise. Also came with this interesting band that I don't have experience with. It's modeled after the French Marine Nationale straps. It has an elastic quality and some cool hardware.

It's a japan-only limited edition model, so you've got to find a Japanese retailer or go to eBay. I got mine from SakuraWatches (right here :: https://www.sakurawatches.com/citize...del-pc1014-51d ) once shipping and all was done it was about $430 delivered. You can find them on eBay for the same price (+/- a bit) and some other sites had it listed for like $600 which seems a little excessive haha.

They only made 1500 of them, and considering the specs and quality I feel like the ~$400 price is very fair.

Not really. Wear that badass Tudor everywhere, all the time. All the Time. Congrats on the purchase.

If I ever found myself in a world where an evening watch was needed - and I couldn't afford a wafer-thin gold Patek Philippe - I'd get a Max Bill automatic.

    Or maybe an Orient Bambino:

Came in yesterday and I DIG IT. Super crisp and clean dial, great finishing, and great size.

    Fantastic and super clean design.

I came across the GMT version the other day and also really like the style.
I am glad CW finally rebalanced the dial by moving the logo to 12 (and date to 6).

Bravur is doing limited edition chronos for the Grand Tours this year. The Giro one just revealed, I have to say, is pretty cool. Decent size at 38mm as well.
