I have a Niche. Depending upon humidity there can be a half-gram (or more) of static retention in the chute. That's better than nearly any other grinder. Perfection is being undermined by physics and we can't change physics. After grinding I rock the grinder back and forth on its feet to thump most of the clinging grinds out of the chute.
I've wondered whether a grounded metal chute would solve the problem but I'm not motivated enough to try to make one.

Thanks for the responses. To be fair, it is getting rather dry now it's winter here in the upper Midwest.
I think there is a quick water spray trick out there, and I'll have to look into that.
