Let the games begin and post those foodie pics here, folks. Some pre-game pics of crusty, white artisan bread dusted with white poppyseed, giblet gravy in the making and pumpkin pie on it's way to the oven.

hey, how lucky can one man get.
Aye yi I feel bad. You always knock it out, the pics. are amazing.
Once again I have Zero pics. to share.
We pulled together a last min. dinner with cousins and decided to make Thanksgiving "Tribute" pizzas: carmelized pumpkin with dots of cornbread stuffing and bacon (just because we can). Also, made chocolate pecan pies. Errp

Whew...just chillaxing now and it was quite a feast. Three generations were here including my 94 yo MIL and it's always fun to watch the college crowd eat a home cooked meal. Many reason to be thankful too, so hopefully you boys and girls are in a good place as well.

RW,
I knew you could be counted on for amazing pics. We had folding tables, folding chairs and paper napkins. We also had a great feast with kids and grandkids so 3 generations here also. There is something very satisfying about sitting back and listening to chit chat and laughter out of what once was a chaotic family. I am blessed.

I can’t believe that I didn’t post last year…pumpkin pie shots to be added.

Some people look forward to Black Friday or the Thanksgiving parades, my preference is your annual pic fest. Well done again.

It was wretched excess here. Crab legs, beef tenderloin steaks, baked potatoes and corn salad. That was OK but the pear pie with crumble topping and homemade salted caramel sauce killed it. Pears and warming spices: ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon and clove. I don't even like pears. I couldn't stop. Oh, holy God I may have stumbled across the perfect pie.
The homemade part with the caramel sauce I might rethink, that was me wrestling a pan full of lava.
Maybe its getting older and wiser. but kept it really simple this year with a plate simply consisting of turkey , a baked sweet potato and cranberry relish day one followed by a nearly identical plate substituting brussel sprouts for the sweet potato day two. No desert either day -Mike G
