    I saw this on the BBC today and it’s certainly bold and certainly makes sense....can’t convince my wife though.

    Sounds like common sense to me to reuse remains for compost. Not sure if I would like to actually give back that compost to my relatives though. Sounds gross. Can't we just give it to some generic compost provider for gardeners instead ?

    A no-brainer, in my opinion. When I sense the time has come, I’ll climb into the bin myself and save my loved ones the grief.

    Traditional Jewish practice runs along these lines, but without the enhancements. No embalming, a wooden casket without metal. Dust to dust, it's a mitzvah, yo!
