Not for long, Dario will move soon. I guess he'll be very busy with the whole moving thing, and all the frames (they) have to produce
That is a railway maintenance shed of some sort with a wheel drop pit with the wheel drop mechanism removed. We have one at the heritage railway I am workshop manager for.
Cheers Dazza The rock star is dying. And it's a small tragedy. Rock stars have blogs now. I have no use for that kind of rock star.

when the effects of the wine you had last night are over...please give us some comments about this nice arcticle.....i think not everything is exactly that way....but maybe i'm wrong....grassie!
Behind the scenes, Dario does a lot of good work. A lot of not well known things but admirable.
Also Rob Cobcroft does some interesting work with Veloaficionado.

Last weekend I was in Verona with my family, and I could not help visiting the new Pego Cave.
We had great time hangin out with Dario, the new "botega" is almost ready to go and is beautiful.
See all those unpainted frames is always something for me.
I talked to Dario about the colors of my Ciavete Mxxxxxo.. as some of you already know i purchased an all black OMC crank that very few like (I know, I know, I'm supposed to use Campy stuff or at least not a mixed gruppo, but I love this crank and the way it work with my 10v sram setup).
I was thinking of putting more black (saddle, tape, brakes ..) and keep the vivid colors on the frame, but Dario looked at me oddly...
His advice is to let the personality of the frame contaminate the other components, so I think that some light green or light blue are on their way :)
To help me with that I met in Verona Riccardo Migliorini of "Officina del miglio" (look for him on Facebook, amazing pictures of his works), this guy is an absolute artist in making custom colored saddles and bar tapes.
Thanks again Dario for your time and your advices, and thanks Riccardo for your support.
P.s.
the picture of the bike has not been taken in the "botega" but in the OMC Italia head office.
Since it's now winter in Canada I was thinking about doing a good cleaning of my responsorium (with the ciavete paint job). GCN just had a video about waxing your frame and mentioned you should use different wax for matte frames and for glossy frames. I can't really tell if Dario's paint jobs would be considered matte or glossy. Any ideas?
Last summer I found an old POGOSTIK for sale.
It was neglected, assembled with rubbish components and the owner did not know what was selling.
So I "had to save her!!" and bought it for little bucks.
I manage to get the frame to The Bottega to have it cheked.
Pietro told me that it was fine, but we agreed that a new paint was needed.
He advised me to choose a graphic that Dario was using in the 90's on mtb.
The graphic is as ironic as Dario could be, it is called "spermatozoi"
I spent the last months collecting the components i wished for, I am not a vintage/period correct/taleban, I want to build it to ride it at its best.
