    Default Parking in Bike Lanes

Because this is a bit funny (but humor is based in truth) I figured I would put it here for your amusement/ recognition of what makes all us cityfolk crazy rather in the Cycling sub…

    Read the sign….so true…

Pretty darn on the nose eh?

    Top excuses:

    - I'll move in just a second
    - Can't you just ride around me?

No government would use Bouba Round Bold for the main topic font. I knew it was fake as soon as I saw that.

While stationed in South Carolina, the biggest issue was real estate agents and vendors putting signs in the bike lane. This was before cell phones, so we would kick them off the road. One agent called the police, so we all stopped and waited. The police officer gave her the correct answer, move your signs. But overall, it was "whack a mole," there were always more signs.

We went thru a few years of "Have you seen this dog?" Literally thousands and thousands of these 1/2" stapled to poles or Gorilla Taped to signs and on most of the bike trails.

I guess the point is you get used to fairly clean visual when riding known roads and paths than some yahooo has to muck it all up ;)

That's pretty good Bob. Just because I'm only now becoming facile using ironic humor I'd like to point out that he is riding what appears to be a Raleigh DL-1. I don't know from nothin' but that bike has no actual brakes.

*I really just wanted to use facile in a sentence.

    Thank for the fish.
