Quick trip to Harper’s Ferry yesterday.

I’m eyeing a couple days in the spring to ride out (~65mi), stay overnight and either ride or Amtrak back the next day.

A brand new aviation museum has opened locally. Old time bush pilot who turned it into a huge business has decided his legacy will be this museum.

Daughter #2 and I went along yesterday, it is stunning. The museum holds 1 of the only 4 de Havilland Mosquitos left in the world that are airworthy .. I turn into a slobbering mess when I even see a picture of a Mosquito, the real thing …..

I did not know that they also have a Hawker Tempest … i had no idea how MASSIVE the Tempest is …. What a fabulous place. I will be there many times.
