hey, how lucky can one man get.
What happens when something hides under your car and pisses off the cat that’s after it.

Afternoon walk, first convertible Range Rover I've seen, Google tells me they've made them for several years, didn't know there was such a thing.

I foresee high costs of tire/rim replacement. Surely for a place strewn with potholes, a tire with higher sidewall would be more prudent.
If theft-resistant was the goal for those wheels, mission accomplished! (yuck)

Nice restoration…RH drive and a look inside indicated 211,373 on the odometer…not sure if that’s miles or kilometers.

This guy and his dad are restoring a French farmhouse - pretty interesting series on that - but I think his day job is in advertising media something. Which is amusing because he's a highly capable carpenter as well. Anyway, this is him setting up his Land Rover for work. I like someone who is willing to drill holes in his Land Rover to do something other than kill it.
There are barn finds, and then there are barn finds on a scale never seen before — and the Palmen collection is definitely the latter. Spanning over 230 cars, the Palmen collection took two warehouses and a former church to store. The completely eclectic collection has everything from Italian sports cars from Ferrari, Lancia, and Maserati; British luxury from Rolls-Royce and Bentley; and American classics from the '50s. Alongside the cars are motorcycles and mopeds from MV Agusta, Moto Guzzi, and Vespa. Located in Dordrecht, the Netherlands, the auction is scheduled to take place over several weeks starting on May 19, 2023, with viewing days for perspective buyers.

One of my favorite impractical cars from a visual standpoint. I’d like to see one in person.

Impractical? It has a trunk and a rear deck that would be perfect for mounting bikes on a SeaSucker!
They look perfectly balanced in person. Tight would be another word for it. I can't think of another car that looks more composed just sitting there than the Dino. I think it is the up-curve of the front and rear that make it look somehow alert even when motionless. And the space between the car and ground and around the wheel wells somehow looks perfectly sprung, if that's the right word. Coiled maybe. I've seen one in Rome and one in Paris, just on the street - who parks one of these cars on the street?? But there they were.
