Looks like the type of places actually worth the money.
Good to know. This might be a worthwhile place for a celebration in the future.

    Wasn't Bancone, was it?

    No, it was Margot.

My dad was with us, and we wanted to show him what we consider to be the best Italian meat-based dish. This was one of the few that had it. At least the meat wasn’t stringy and tough. I didn’t try any of the cocktails, but it starts at 15 quids here.

You might be wondering why i didn’t pick a place serving British fare, and the answer is that neither my wife nor my dad likes a Beef Wellington, but for different reasons.

Nah, no judgment from me. There's no reason to limit oneself based on what others think. (I did like Bancone and would recommend it to anyone looking for good pasta in Covent Garden.)
