Wow on that BMW 1M. I had no idea... our new neighbors across the street, they have one. It came with Ali, he's a retired pro squash player from England teaching here now. When they pull it out of the garage it does make a really nice noise.

Nothing screams "look at me, I have issues" as much as driving the single most poorly designed from a "usable as a truck" pickup in the place where one would never even need a pickup truck on a weekend afternoon with paper Jersey plates.

And it may just be the way the light was, but is the panel behind the driver's door an indication that Tesla still hasn't fixed its fit and finish/ production quality issues?

I’m not going to try to excuse the Cybertruck because it appears it’s not a great vehicle by any measure. But it must also be noted that stainless is known to be difficult to work with.

It’s not a serious truck I don’t think though I’m not a good judge as a non-truck guy. If I were looking at an electric truck I’d be putting a deposit on the upcoming Chevrolet Silverado electric version. But I’m not looking for a truck.

I am not in the market for a full size truck but mildly curious about how Chevy's approach might differ from Ford's. I thought Ford did a nice job with the Lightning.

Who needs a truck anyway? I've caught that thing in my neighborhood for months and it seems to carry all kind of things.





The funny part is that I saw that it is on sale. Owner wants 2200€ for this 1993 nissan micra/march with 350000km. You won't get it resprayed at this price but at least you get an aftermarket radio with bluetooth!

I should take photos of the stuff I put on top of my Volvo. Last time I bought a dozen 12' 1x10's, I had a nice chat with the guy at the lumber yard parking lot about tie-downs and rack loads. He helped load the boards, and then I showed him how I double loop the straps to increase both tension and friction. Old canoe carrying thing.

It wasn't fun driving home with it, but I took as many back roads as I could stitch together and got it done.

I got fed up loading the roof rack with drywall and plywood. MDF is 80 pounds a sheet and I never need just one.

Local lumber yard has free delivery so heavy stuff comes on their truck. You can get a bad board or three that needs exchanging but otherwise very convenient neighbor to have.

But yeah, if I was hauling lumber etc. daily - especially if it was part of my job - a pickup would make sense.
