Any cricket fans?

Full disclosure: an Aussie friend got me to watch The Test on Amazon Prime and now I'm an unabashed Justin Langer and Cricket Australia fan even though I barely know what a wicket is.

I just watched my first match the other day: T20 World Cup Australia v India but the Aussies have bowed out of the tournament. I'd like to watch England v India tomorrow but my daughter is traveling with her iPad which is how I watched the last game via an app with ads.

Now I need to find some way to watch on my desktop. Does anyone have any ideas? I should be able to download a free VPN trial as a workaround.

Thanks for any input ... viewing from Spain but probably shouldn't matter with the VPN. I'm sure it's the same game as watching the spring classics I just don't know where to watch cricket.

When I would deploy to the Middle East, we would receive ESPN International which shows a lot of cricket. We would have watch parties when rivals like India and Pakistan would play.

(Aussie) Cricket 'tragic' here - born and brain washed into the game. Played it through school and club level until marriage and job etc.

I adore test match cricket above all other forms - reminds me the most of my own experiences, players dressed in 'creams' on beautifully green grounds.

I just bought a Euromillones lottery ticket in Barcelona honoring T20 recent retirees:

Rohit Sharma (45), Virat Kohli (18), David Warner (31), Finchy (5), and Ravindra Jadeja (8). For the 2 bonus stars numbers I put 4 and 5 for Rohit.

I spent a stupid amount of time watching cricket as a kid and eventually playing it...until the cycling bug hit.

I too like test cricket. But, it requires time and patience. T20...not so much, which perhaps explains its popularity to the...ahem...younger generation.

Great memories as a kid though. Sitting in the outer under the fig trees at Adelaide Oval. The tension as Lillie inched towards and broke the (then) test wicket record at the MCG. Viv Richards swagger.* Australian belting the POMs against the odds in the '89 Ashes. And so on.

*Richards wore a cap when batting. Fast bowlers. Slow bowlers. Didn't matter. He just chewed his gum and got on with it, often with a big grin if a fast bowler zing a ball at his head, or he dispatched them to the boundary. It's a bit like seeing a cyclist barrelling down a mountain in the TdF without a helmet. Wouldn't happen these days.
