When are we all going? I still have my titanium travel chopsticks. Just need to give them a wash and I am ready.

You are all better off at my place in Hakuba. We rent a large van from Toyota Rent a car for next to nothing, and cycling options range from big climbs , sphincter puckering descents, to easy stuff. I also have some great zero maintained roads in the middle of the moutains for gravel bikes.
Beyond the cycling, you can mix in Canyoning, SUP, rafting, paragliding. Being only 51 km from the sea of Japan, you can get super cheap and fresh sea food.
Plus the tour guide 'me' knows all the local legends. This area of Japan is base area for Amaterasu and the Japan foundation myths. When humans disappointed her, she hid in a cave in the mountains.
D
Just my two cents but my liability waiver is a bitch. Even though this is Japan, I expect an Aspen-sezed tip.
Belly-up to the bar.

Obviously above is the best offer, but I just figured out the company in the OP link is the current iteration of the company we used in Hokkaido. They were excellent, but the owner decided to retire and sold his routes and resources to this company.
