That’s quite a car, Lionel, and great pictures. Please forgive me for zooming in on the Lancia.

Yeah this car should be fun, have not driven it yet. Soon. As for Rally skills yes too but I am more looking forward to the experience rather than winning anything :)
I know I’m not the only one, can you explain the dash? Toggle switches?
Thanks,
Mike

I vote for:
Lager, Weissbeer, Helles, Dunkel, Pilsner, Kölsch, Bock, Schwarzbeer, Dunkelweiss...
(Only when the racing is finished obviously)

I'd hoped the big red button would read DON'T PUSH

hey, how lucky can one man get.
I purchased a 1969 Porsche 912 back in May and thought I'd post a few photos of the original owner (1969-2022) racing it. Andrew raced the 912 extensively then purchased a 1973 911E 2.4L (guessing sometime in the 1980s) so the 912 took a back seat. Anyway, here are a couple photos from the 1971 Sun Valley Porsche Parade. You can read about his experience at that event here (pages 15 & 16). Andrew drove from Virginia Beach to Sun Valley and back which is pretty cool. I have the handwritten log of the trip too (you can see that here).
First up is one at the top of the Galena Hillclimb, waiting for the police to escort the run group back down to the start line. My 912 is the white car:
Next is the 912 in action at the Sun Valley autocross:
Andrew was a regular presence at the Porsche Parades and as he mentioned in the linked article above from 2010, he had been to 28 Porsche Parades at the time.
The only other photograph I have of the car being raced is this one from possibly the 1970s or 1980s.
The car pretty much looks exactly the same as is did way back then and here's how it sits now:
Same model year, same color listed on BAT right now.

I've been watching those. So nice and simple looking.

Pulled into brunch spot today, and found the perfect parking spot. Mine's the one on the right, lowly fried eggs 99 996:
992.2 ordered to share and enjoy with my wife. Leaned towards a grand tourer/luxe spec but snuck in Sport Chrono. I've turned the 718 into a track rat and no longer possible to drive on the street without losing fillings.
The 996 above (and the 997 GT3) are sweet!
