You can get a Jimny Sierra which is about 2.1mm yen or $14,000

It is probably not all that different from the Artic cosmetically, and a heck of a lot cheaper.

GM 2nd Gen Volt had an electric range of 50 miles, hopefully someone can find the CATIA files on the old servers.

I loved my most recent NA 1991 Miata (sold it in 2016). I installed a trailer hitch, which was not all that difficult to do solo. Here it is with my old Firefly #44.

I've had several NAs and NBs and would love to get another (NA, of course)!

    Love it!

I’ve got the absolute latest and greatest incoming. They’ve made some changes over last year’s model which will be nice to have even if I won’t be able to tell any difference. I’m happy to be getting a newer one with all LED lighting, etc. But NAs are always cool. The one I had was super reliable.

I didn't stop to take a photo of the stainless-steel electric abomination parked at the curb. I didn't even slow down to take a good look at it.

Are there actually nice places where you can legally park these huge things and stay for a while?

There aren't that many nice places where people can park an A-Class camper legally over here. Even regular camping grounds are usually made of smaller lots where only the small to medium C-Class Campers can fit.

I think these are probably horse trailers. They might have accommodation in them for the grooms or stable hands, but I doubt things are too deluxe. Mostly they are used for transporting horses to and from competitions of various sorts, so they usually don’t park elsewhere.

I see quite a few of those at horse events. If you're pulling a living quarters trailer, they can be very large and some have triple axles. In Wickenburg, which is NW of Phoenix, ropers and team ropers spend months at a time doing their sport and living out of their trailers.

Additionally, you can buy an older semi for half the price of a high end one ton pickup. A single rear axle semi doesn't require a special license endorsement, at least around this part of the country. Legally, it's just a big truck. The cool setups are a single rear axle truck with a large "sleeper cab" pulling a big horse trailer.

A friend from my Huggies engineering days retired, bought a flatbed F-550, and makes good money delivering travel trailers either from a dealer to the customer, or taking trailers north/south for the season. When we make our permanent move to Wyoming next year, I'll pull the shell off my F-250 so we can use it for the gooseneck horse trailer, which is around 9K pounds with two horses. My wife's Chevy 2500 is 17 years old with over 300K miles, so we're trying to limit the miles so we can get a few more years out of it.

There was a time when one of the NIH (Bethesda, MD) maintenance workers would park his 60's Peterbuilt on a sidestreet. They had a large toobox mounted over the hitch and that is all.

All I could think was this cat was so in love with their past avocation. I'd classify that as a crime of passion ;)

This is usually way back in the driveway behind several cars/trucks, caught it the other day on my way home from a ride, thinking its a 1951 or older as in 1952 GMC/Chevy went to one piece windshields. I like old vehicles with patina combined with nice tires and wheels, good look, never talked to the owner but maybe new paint at some point, if I see him I'll ask him about it.
