When you're married to an artist, you get Christmas cookies too pretty to eat. I eat them anyway.

Nice exposure with tricky lighting on the street scene above.

rw,
I knew that hood daily 25 years ago.
What hour was that pic taken?
Thanks.

Thanks.
I would not likely be downtown at the hour in the winter.
If you were a native of the city, you would say, "on Capitol Hill"
I've been in Olympia for 25 years so perhaps "in" is in?
Nice pic regardless.

Sort of like George Carlin’s quote…“Evel Knievel can get on the plane, I’m getting in it.” I’ve been coming to the Emerald City for work since 1991, and one week per month since 2004 and the Winters pale in comparison from where I come from…the Summers are spectacular as you know. The area certainly has changed quite a bit in that short time, some change for the good, other changes have been a bit challenging, especially since the pandemic. No different than anywhere else for that matter, and I like the neighborhoods, the diversity of the people and of course the natural surrounds. I’ll miss the regular trips when I retire, but as our daughter works for UDub, that will give my wife and I the reason to keep in touch with the area and to make extended visits.
