Sweet zombie jebus that kicks ass.
Did you route the rear brake cable through the seatmast ala speedvagen?
no. the thing is pretty conventional in terms of cable routing. regular splits and all. it only has routing for a rear derailleur though. the bike uses the same main pipes as the corsa- but different stays and a different drop out design. my thoughts here were that i needed the additional tire clearance the s bend stays provided but i didn't want to lose any stiffness so i went with a beefier hooded drop-out to gain back some of the torsional rigidity i may have lost with the smaller stays. my corsa stays are bigger, but use a more conventional dropout to facilitate quick and easy wheel swaps. i figured that benefit is less relevant in a cross race where pit bikes are the norm and the mechanic would have at least a lap to swap a wheel following a bike swap.
this is also the first gaulzetti with a pressfit 30 bottom bracket. i am really, really pleased with this standard and wll be incorporating this design feature on all my future corsas.
Cool, thanks for the details. Is the cross corsa going to be a standard offering sometime in the future, or just a one-off for now?
Big League Chew baby! My jaw hurts just looking at that thing. Awesome!
it is a standard offering. available for immedate purchase through luxe wheelworks : Home.
thanks!

Just a few more months and we would have had a case of Gaulzetti Enve.
Craig,
With PF30 bb do you ream post weld and if so do you use a dedicated reamer or mill?
