I bought blizzaks for the Mini so why not right?

Good call. I've always run winter tires and they've been Blizzaks for the last decade. For the first time I went with an all-season tire though that's winter rated: Vredestein Quatrac 3. They're good, but nowhere near as grippy in the snow as the Blizzaks. I think there are only a couple of all-season tires with the winter rating and I believe they're both Scandinavian (Nokian is the other).

It's been a long time since there's been that much snow on the beaches of Fairfield County (especially with a SACHS cross, too). Not looking forward to shoveling out the walks at my parents house down there tomorrow.
