Need to get away from the burbs this weekend. Does anyone have any recommendations for restaurants to have a nice, long, lazy lunch out near Leesburg, Middleburg, etc. Basically, out in the country, but within an hour or so of DC.

I've tried the Red Fox once and gave it a B minus. But that was one meal, at an off hour, so take it for what that is worth.
I'd recommend Ashby Inn & Restaurant in Paris, VA, just up the road. Good date spot.
Near Fredericksburg, I like the downstairs pub at the Inn at Kelly's Ford. It is super casual, good beer, great grilled chicken sandwich, pool table, darts. Not a good date spot. I eat there after fly fishing for smallies in the Rappahanock River. Spring is near, so I was scouting my old fishing spots just last weekend and stopped in for a bite.
Thanks Bill- added Ashby to my list.

If you make it to Ashby, please give us a report. I haven't been there since the new chef came onboard.
Olney Ale House. Not a five star but decent food and........................... well they do call it an Ale House.
L'Auberge Chez Francois on Springvale road out past Great Falls is a nice ride out, but you'll be underdressed in bike clothes. Fantastic French menu, but Ça coûte cher...
