Re: Tie stripes
Hmm, I have a tie given to me by a cycling coach from Germany right after the Berlin Wall came down. When being viewed by someone else, it is pinstriped striped right high to left low with a small BDR emblem near the bottom in dark blue, red and white stripes and white emblem. I wore it because it worked good with my USCF officials shirt when I worked at bigger races. I wonder if the angle of the stripes means anything?
Good cyclists are:
Visible, Predictable, Alert, Assertive and Courteous
They also use the five layers of protection available.
Layer 1: Control your bike
Layer 2: Know and follow the rules of the road
Layer 3: Ride in the smartest lane position
Layer 4: Manage hazards skillfully
Layer 5: Utilize passive protection.
