Whipped this together yesterday in preparation for a batch of 6 forks that I'm just starting on. Used it today and it was a great time saver. Inspired by Dave Kirk's similar tool.
Just thought I'd share. That is all.

i have a similar gig atmo - i dedicated my 1970's fixture to being a length cutting template. the surrogate
crown is placed in, clamped in perpetuity (look it up) at a specific distance from the axle assembly, and all
blades are checked against it before being hack sawed. if a fork span is shorter, i make a mental note and
cut more blade. and if the fork span is longer, i make a mental note to cut less blade. around here, mental
notes are the new black atmo.

It seems builders have been making these little thingies for many years
my last updated version I made a while back for straight or bendy blades
stainless rulers with .5mm grads were added to this one
me thinks the next one will be rigged up to a cold saw and the jiggy thingie will slid along directly under the blade.
Fit fork blade
slide jiggie thingie to desired dimension
Lock all down
down comes saw, chops
Bingo
but I am getting too old to be motivated to make another one before I retire in 10 years

The rock star is dying. And it's a small tragedy. Rock stars have blogs now. I have no use for that kind of rock star.
