ZENO-WATCH BASEL. Beautiful, sweeping, 25 jewel automatic movement. Handmade in Switzerland since 1922.

(In need of a polish. Lots of scratches.)

    Nice watches!

Here's a couple of nice chronos-

Chrono-matic -just a bit too big for my wrist

Monaco limited edition -I dig the crown on the left side like the original Monaco. Heuer did this with the Silverstone model as well. All the new Monacos also have sapphire crystals.

Got to see the new Paul Gerber Modell 42 today and boy is it nice!

It comes in a very nice aluminum case

    Here's the Pilot version

Here's the Synchron version- the stitching and markers are actually more green than in the photo and match each other perfectly. It's really a neon green color.

Both have sapphire backs that show the new Caliber 42 movement with three rotor winding system (18k gold rotors)

    The specs are-
42mm case (measures approx 47mm across the crown)
    11.8mm total thickness
Titanium case w/ screw down crown and Titanium buckle
Cases are individually numbered and buckles are engraved Paul Gerber
    Superluminova indexes/hands
    Water resistant to 10 ATM
    38 hour power reserve
    Sapphire crystal/case back

If anyone has interest in obtaining one PM me

That is a nice looking watch!

My old man and I bond over watches. His daily wearer is a Datejust which he does not like to wear on his boat. Long story short, my sis got him a digital watch as a gift which he never wears. So I gave him my Citizen Eco Drive diver with maratac strap. You gotta look the part when you are piloting the SS Soulrun.

So I got to order a new diver for me. I got this sweet seiko diver that I wear for adventures.

The stainless band it came with looks too nice, I had to dress it down with the maratac zulu.

Love this thread, keep the posts coming.

I really, really like the Modell 42. It's the kind of watch I'd wear every day. My boss has already claimed the two in the pics! I should see the Modell 41 in the next day or so as Paul is coming to visit on Saturday- I'll post pics when I can. The Modell 41 has 100 hour power reserve and will be available in stainless steel or rose gold case. I don't yet know pricing on the Modell 41 but the Modell 42 shown above will sell for $5945.00 which is pretty amazing for that kind of collectors watch.

That tourbillon is beautiful. A customer of mine just purchased one of the new Chinese made tourbillon watches and I have to say for the money he spent it was very impressive.

Honestly, I find myself wearing my Deepsea more and more over my other watches.

    It's an amazing watch.

    67 Zodiac Sea Wolf
Been thru countless overhauls, new crystals, cannibalized mainsprings, new face, non-original hands, etc. Still running but getting pretty long in the tooth.

I love the look of old Zodiacs. The newer ones don't do it for me though. Laura has this 60s lady's zodiac

    Fathers Day Rolex

Very nice gift. I usually hate to wear watches especially ones with metal bracelets but this one is light and comfortable. I wore this week but I think it going to go in the safety deposit box on Monday. It'll be cool to engrave another date in it soon.

Like Schwinn, Zodiac went out of business and the name was sold.

This story was passed on to me by a watchmaker friend... who will one day write something for us here.

    For today, enjoy Mark Twain:

    Bought some wheels
    Took it out

    Yeah.
    Sigh.
