Traditional track frame for an old friend. First photo is 36 years ago at T-Town. Second photo is last Friday, two new knees and 35lbs. lighter than he was a year ago. This was a very emotional project for both of us, in a good way.

Also check a shop visit to Firefly by John Prolly Watson that took place last week :: Shop Visit: Firefly Bicycles (Prolly Is Not Probably) :: He's got such a good eye. A couple of misplaced facts in the text, but considering he didn't take any notes and we had a couple of beers, I'll give him an A+.
Cheers all, to another amazing week!

A couple rather large bikes this week. The Corretto is for a 197cm rider whilst the Matt Black Cubano is for a chap who is 199cm.
Had to stand on my tippy toes to paint the Cubano. Not the biggest bike I've painted but getting damn near close to it.
Test riding them proved to be an interesting challenge to say the least. Even at 6 feet tall the guy's in the workshop said I looked like an 8 year boy trying to ride his old mans bike.
Cheers,
Jared

Have a great summer weekend.

It's been a while since I participated in one of these. School's out, my wife is home to take care of our little one and I'm back at it...finally. Finished two up last week (no pics) and will have this one done over the weekend.

Custom, stealthy, carbon frame, carbon fiber logos, with matching ENVE fork, and integrated handlebar-stem. All have a "hot" nude finish.
New frame ready for paint and some random crap. Wear your helmets on the trail and watch for low hanging tree limbs.

29er adventure bike for Brian Ellin in San Francisco. Bike waiting for braze-ons and XT kit.
Came back from a great few days of camping to start on brazing up the bits and pieces for 32 SpeedVagen Cross frames. A lot of details go into these things.
Here is the pile of dropouts with stainless reinforcements brazed on:
Time to braze on the head tube rings and dropouts to chainstays
Snuck some photos of Butches all-weather road frame at COAT Paint Shop.
