My Smoked out question to you: do you consolidate all of these via forwarding/some other method, or do you actually have 4(+?) separate email accounts? I really hope you have all of those pointing to the same place, for your own sanity.

Re: Gaulzetti Cicli
Maybe this has been addressed or answered elsewhere.
For the seatmast topper - how much adjustment is available if the bike is shipped with the preferred height being in the (virtual) middle of the spectrum?
-
Re: Gaulzetti Cicli
Total adjustment on the seatmast topper is about 2.5cm. Also, you can drop a 31.6 post inside the seat tube and use that if you should either mess up the cut, want to travel or buy one second-hand. I'm riding one now. Works well.

Re: Gaulzetti Cicli
Those fab shots are impressive. Makes me want a made in MA Corsa just for the fab quality, even if most of the evidence is covered by paint in the end.

Woof!

Re: Gaulzetti Cicli
Love the fabrication photos - or any photos for that matter.
What do the shot peen finishes look like? I was in middle school in 1992. I'll have to google this.

dood- i don't really know. but we can do it for an extra $400 and find out.

Re: Gaulzetti Cicli
jerk, I'm familiar with all the fatigue life improvement and stress relieving goodness that is shot peening, but does shot peened 7005 need a coating for corrosion resistance. Just curious.

Re: Gaulzetti Cicli
What about ball burnishing? My US-built FS bikes (Turner and Titus) back in the early 00's were ball burnished.
I'm not sure I've ever seen a shot peened frame other than IF ti frames.

Shit yes, that would be amazing. Someone needs to do it so we can see it executed. That would probably incur a double $400 charge for both the complicated paint and shot peening. Probably worth it though.

ball burnished is a form of shot peening.

once the review is published strickland needs to give me the bike back....so it keeps getting bumped for articles about how to climb better in three weeks.
actually- whenever they put it out it will be great exposure. we've still got a lot of work to do in terms of building the brand and further dialing our production process. the good news is we are going to be shipping out a bunch of patient client's bicycles in a few.
