I'm nowhere near in the league of most others here, but building frames is fun and it makes me happy so there you go. If it stops being either, I'll stop doing it.

Oh, and I guess this counts as FNL fodder as well. All are welcome to add themselves. Had a lot of interest early on, but a lukewarm response once I got it up...without any feedback, I'm stuck.

Nice paper snippet, E-R reminds me of Devo: "love comes in spurts"
Just boxed the mossy metalic frame to Rockford, MI. Green touring bike swung by for a free follow-up tune up.
Shop helper EP's blue touring bike I made some # of yrs ago before he started helping me.
Next progect an honest to goodness 3-speed townie.

Todd is my superhero as I sent him this bike on Thursday last week. It needs to be in Utah on Tuesday to get crated for a shipment to Germany for Eurobike. Still kind of amazed I got it all together with about 2 weeks notice from Enve. Wheels are at Enve (blue king hubs with 35mm carbon cliinchers).

A new fork to replace one that lost the battle of roof rack and object tug of war (he is getting a stem and seat post at the same time):

Got my shipment of chainstays I had made to my specs. Very exciting!

    Have a great weekend.

Big guy = big bike = big tubes = big fillets.

This one is headed to a tall guy in Canada.

Just some of the steps along the way. Getting lugs roughed out, then fit up to mitered tubes.

In my shop this is the BIG machine. The Spudnik fixture is for bottle bosses, but it works great for this also.

A tale of three brakes (and bikes).

James wanted a bike that would feel great on the road, rock the dirt roads, and keep him dry during the spring melt. He also wanted simplicity. Shimano BR-650. Room for a Michelin Jet or 25s with Honjo 35 mm fenders.

Lyen wanted a bike that would spend a lot of time on dry fire roads with big tires, keep the mud off of him with slightly smaller tires on wet dirt road days, and would still feel great in a paceline. Pauls Racer. Room for something massive without fenders and easily 30s with Honjo 43 mm fenders.

Justin wanted a bike that he could mount up some 23s on for some fast road riding on up to some fat knobbies if he was in the mood for some trails. Pauls Medium Racer. Tons of room and good looks.

A fillet rain bike with a unicrown fork to match. Built using standard calipers maxed out for 25s with fenders. Heading off for paint.
