The Sinn watches are awesome for their clean simple look and ability to take a beating. Two yrs. ago I almost pulled the trigger on a used one. Speedy first ;)

I've got the same jones for a 656 with a stainless bracelet as you do for the Speedy ;>). But for well under 2 bills this fits just fine for now. Someday however.

that's another great thing about poor boy watches--mod 'em 'till you drop, no worries 'bout devaluing it. make it like you _want_ it. when i start modding i'll get a GMT bezel first and maybe a 24 hr face. not picky about hands, don't care for numerics at 3/6/9. oh and a picture window would be cool as all hell.

i'm leaving now. that stuff is too tempting.

Different strokes and all... I like simple watches, the divers have always been a bit busy for me but at this price point definitely buy what trips the trigger.

busy? busy?! oh, you like the 12 marks and that's all nothing more style. yes i can go there-later when i'm done playing diverboy.

a GMT ring would be less busy than the 60-min oem--mof i'd prefer one of those with just ticks for 1-11 and a lumenescent dot at 12, but haven't seen that yet. but otherwise i find hour/minute marks, day/date, 3-hands and a functional bezel quite staid when rolled up next to a chronograph or moonphase masterpiece.

divers do be clunky, but less so with a non-metal strap. i need the clunk to protect the innards from the abuse i give 'em.

plenty of simple autos in the 5 line.

    jiggy jig

I'm all for mods. I've got a SKX007J incoming to hold me over till I find the MKII. It'll get sword hands, a 12-hr GMT bezel insert, and a blasted case.

In case you didn't see this, Sinn just dropped the 656 from their line. RIP Sinn 656.

That's a great looking watch. A brown leather strap would make it appropriate pretty much anywhere.

I didn't buy the bracelet, and not a huge fan of the gray/black bond. Once I get it and see what will look best I'll order a couple maratac NATOs, including a proper Bond [navy, olive, burgundy]. Can't wait!

Musgravecycles- When you are ready to flip that MKII lemme know, I am looking to trade a Turner flux for a watch...

    Yea I am that shameless.

Also the Maratac blue/black bond strap is oddly thin compared to their solid colors.
