I'm very fortunate to have a local roaster a couple of blocks north and an Italian style cafe two blocks east of my place. I get my beans at the former, and drink strong Ethiopian with just a little cream at home. At the cafe I alternate between wet cappuccinos and macchiatos; each served in small cup: Not the syrupy starbucks big-gulp mutation.
I prefer my presses liberal, french, and full court.
Got some cash
Bought some wheels
Took it out
'Cross the fields
Lost Control
Hit a wall
But we're alright
With chicory of course. I live in New Orleans!
And STRONG with steamed milk if I can get it.
Pour over, using a Chemex and the Coava Kone filter. Medium grind, 200* water poured slowly.
Beans are from among a selection of local roasters: Heart, Coava, Water Ave, Ristretto, Stumptown. Currently pretty into Kenya and Ethiopia, but also do plenty of Central American beans.
I drink it black.
Fresh ground 8 'O Clock French Roast made in an old fashioned percolator. 2-3 sugars w/a splash of half and half. I like exotics but live in the mountains (read boondocks) where 8 O'Clock is exotic.
Local coffee shop that roasts themselves. French press with a dash of skim milk
free as much as possible and then straight and strong and hot is preferred but cold will work. it's a tool atwo.
if i want a milkshake i'll go to DQ.
Strong via French press with milk and sugar.
dark roast with a little bit of skim milk.
Espresso with a little skim, hot or iced, from anywhere that makes espresso including my stovetop Moka or sometimes even that nasty Bustelo instant espresso (bitter as hell, needs a pinch of sugar) that my GF absolutely refuses to drink. Once in a while, Red Bull or Diet Coke.
Drip, Black, and lots of it. I have my last cup of the day at 5 pm, every day.
Another with a French press. I take mine with a dash of fresh milk to start with, but after the first cup, I tend to finish the pot black.
Earlier this year, I went on a road trip from the Auckland to Wellington, and thanks to Tristan, I discovered Bay Espresso. Glad to have brought some of their beans home with me. Although cafe's are abundant in Melbourne, the smells of this coffee reminds me of the New Zealand holiday :-)
I don't have a grinder, so I use a mortar and pestle!

A little milk in the morning brew than black in the afternoon.
Espresso anytime, preferred actually.

It's an all day long thing around here
If I'm buying coffee in a coffee house then it's 2-3 shots in house coffee with milk and sugar
