    Default House's Leather Jacket

Wow if this your style, its about as good as it gets. If this was the 80's it would of be gianni's zipper jacket that MJ made famous. But its 2011 and its house. These boys may just go to the stratosphere. And I may buy some pomade so I can pull the style off.

I'd get a thick neck nodding for all that House represents and does.

I definitely could wear that. Good lord yes.

What's the significance of "33"? Cool, but a little much for me.

Love House. Sure its well made. But even if I were on fire, I wouldn't weant to draw that much attention to myself.

I couldn't pull that off. Maybe if I was Michael Ball. But thankfully, I'm not.

In my opinion, a leather jacket should be black, that's it. Too much effort went into making this "cool" which means...

It's a motorcycle jacket (made by Vanson), so perhaps peeps can get away with a little more "flash" than just a casual leather jacket.

Yeah, that's a bit too "hot-rod with a flaming paint job" for me.

I'd second a Belstaff, or a custom Aero leather jacket.

Vanson makes great stuff. That is way too flash for my taste. I'll take a plain black cobra in perforated.

You earn much respect from those bare-handed pig killing, coconut water salesmen if you pulled up to their roadside stand on your mercex wearing that jacket. -- still about the best part of my Honolulu vacation.

I would not even want to think about the buckets of sweat that would happen in that situation.....

Lemme know when you are coming back. We will deploy the guest room and char some meat.

I have a plain black version of that jacket that is about 30 years old. I wore it on my Triumph. I think it would take quite a bike to pull off wearing that House / Vanson. Something like one of the new Nortons:

A few years ago Triumph issued a jacket called the Rivton that had a similar cafe cut to the Vanson, but it's a wallflower compared to the house. I think I'd take the Rivton, though I love Vanson quality. All that said, I couldn't wear either of these off the bike for more than 3 seconds.

Seems like an excuse to advertise, though if you had to wear it it'd have to be worn on something like my bike:

It isnt so much a matter of what you roll up on so much as how well you roll up on it.

I had one of those as my first real bike. Shook like a paint shaker, noodly forks, and wouldn't get out of its own way. Thought about dropping in an XR600 HRC motor but my brain got the better of me, and I bought a KTM. They did look the business though. And I sold it for more than I bought it. 89 was a crazy good Honda year though - Hawk, CB-1, PC800, GB500. Honda, what happened? I have a Vanson CS5R just to keep it on topic. I have never worn it out of site of my motorcycle. Would be too ridiculous.
