Re: Your New Rear Dropout
Will you be offering the new style dropout as an option on your frames or will you be replacing your horizontal dropouts with these? Will they be exclusively for your road or 'cross frames?
They look like they would require less labor to install due to the plugged ends, which makes sense to me. Will you design a similar style horizontal dropout? Is a matching front dropout in the future?
I could see where some customers would be disappointed in the lack of hand finishing these dropouts entail vs. your flat plate horizontal dropouts, but from an labor saving standpoint they make sense without any real loss of aesthetic. Congratulations on a nice idea that I hope sells well for you.
You haven't said much about them other than the photos; where's the press release? ;-)

Re: Richard Sachs Cycles
I expect this dropout is just for the cross frames............I think all the real time consuming fancy stuff is saved for the road frames.
Suppose e-RICHIE will give us the facts

Re: Richard Sachs Cycles
need to view "imperfection is perfection.."
i enjoyed: discussions, learning, chester night, joe bell, "carly simon," unwrapping the box with all the twizzlers/stars preceding the "smile maker.." and --- i think i kinda really "bought into the man, the bike came with--" ..
