Thanks for the insight. And yes my good camera is the Canon G10. Didn't realize Panasonic had one of the same name. M43 sounds great but also a slippery slope as far as diving into lenses etc is concerned. I think I'm going to have to search out a good camera shop and get my hands on a few before I make any decisions.

I wanted these Alden boots, so I bought them. Merry Winter Solstice to me. My wife actually pushed me into doing it - I was after a pair of Red Wings but she kept suggesting something not so work-wearish.

The 10.5D will work with thinner socks.
I have two pair of Aldens (986) and a pair of Alden lace ups made for The brothers Brooks. I feel special every time i wear them.
Never had a pair of their boots, but seeing yours has me dreaming - and dreaming gets me through many days.
