Always great to see creative re-use of un-usable inner tubes, (cars, bikes, tractors, etc). Anna Bowen takes her work to the next level integrating natural fiber, (flax) to her creations. Just dropped off fresh load of rubber for Anna to wip up a Man Bag & some panniers, cant wait to see what she comes up with.

Anna is just getting started with this venture, she would be excited to hear from anyone who is intrested in these hand made jems. She said to get hold of her on face book, pretty sure she is the only Anna Bowen in Gisborne, New Zealand. I will be coming for NAHMBS 2012, gladly be your mule for anyone planning on attending.

On the contrary, Anna will be thrilled to recieve emails in regards to her bags. I posted these pics with permission to give her some feedback & motivation from discerning eyes, (I think I came to the right place?). She is just getting started and I belive her products will be worth the wait & coin if you are into unique hand crafted products. I understand she is working on prototype bags and gearing up with industrial sewing machine, patience is a virtue.

Thank you Edoz, just the type of feedback Anna needs. I find it difficult to find cool things to gift to my girlfriend, stuff like these hand crafted bags is a no brainer if you can find em.
