I'm not from Verona....I'm from Padova, which is in the same Region.....in my opinion "ciāvete" means literally "fuck off yourself"....regarding the paint of the frame (i own a Responsorium in Ciāvete paintscheme) it means that "whatever Dario does you have to accept it...and if you don't like it.....Ciāvete"!!!

So Dario, is there any chance you could be talked into gracing Friday Night Lights with some images? Preferably on a consistent basis:)

It doesn't matter if you have or not a Pego, the purpose of the event is to share some good time with nice people who love Dario's work... and italian red wine, of course.
As many of you may know, Caldonazzo is surrounded by dozens of fantastic mountains, with steep climbs through woods, peaks, rivers... you can bet we'll gonna have a GREAT ride!
If anyone is interested, I can give you all the details, including accomodation, etc..
    C'mon, join us! ;-)
Cheers from sunny (and freezing) Italy!

Dear Alberto..I'm very glad that we have a new "organizing commitee" for the '12 Pegoraduno (it means Pego Rallye I guess)...i hope that many people from v-salon will come to Caldonazzo....i know that many of you are not just around the corner from Italy.....but we will glad if everybody wants to come and join us!

    Ciao,

It pleases me to hear that you and your family are well. As for the Vespa, I'm sure it's very nice, but Andrea should really have a proper bike, don't you think?

But that's my selfish reason. I will probably still buy another Pegoretti even if it's made in USA but it's just a bit strange...

Dario, you made such wonderful bikes to ride and just to look at! Riding my Pegoretti just makes me feel so happy and free. It's one brand that I have no hesitation recommending to bike lovers. Our group started with 2, now we have 7 within a year, and 7 more pending delivery in 2012 :) If you come to Singapore, we will be thrilled to meet you in person.

    Bikyle sells your steel forks.
Do you expect the frame to handle better with the steel?
What differences in ride characteristics should be expected by switching?
Why have you replaced many of your steel forks for carbon?

Teo loves your painting and it is hung in my bedroom next to the bike.
    Colors match too.

    ciao Enrico,
i think that is not a material war , sometimes on the forums seems there is something like a religion war , steel vs carbon or alu , the main question is that is possible to build a nice , well made and work good fork with the carbon and a really bad fork with the steel or reverse , everything depending by the idea , the quality of the building process , the craftmanship.
Steel fork have an advantage that is the possibilities to build the fork with many different rakes and height very easily , carbon forks are more light and this can be an important point for many customers ,( not for me).
    un abbraccio

Dario, How do the tubes you use for the Marcelo differ from Columbus Nobium Spirit?
How thin are the walls of the tubes that you use?
What are the rear drop outs made from? (I noticed mine arent magnetic)
Why dont you stamp your name into the BB shell anymore?
    Thanks

    buongiorno,
the alloy is the same , the design of my tubesets is not the same of the standard spirit tubes , Columbus made my tubes on my design and the tools necessary to drawing my tubesets are my propriety .
i required for the Mxxxxxo the heat treatment of all the tubeset , the standard set is cold work stress relived.
two different thickness , the butted part from .65 to .75 the middle part is 0.5.
the dropouts are laser cutting from a 316 L stainless steel plate.
i am not a great fan of the logo , was very popular in the past to write logos everywere , i prefer a minimal and discrete design .
    take care

Yes we shall. Two of my favourites as well, Negra is a fantastic beer. Mexico did well bringing the Germans in to set up the breweries, and all Mexican beer is brewed to German purity laws.
Most people do not even know the scope of mexican food, it is like Thailand or Malaysia, crossroads of the word linking continents and taking the best for thiers - most don't know about corn fungus, squash flowers, green corn tamale..........
But, I am thinking more basic, like wild trout tacos with three salsas, fresh beans, parbroiled rice, slaw with lime.........maybe a chili relleno on the side, eh? Maybe two?
