Lump in my throat like I was watching Hoosiers the first time I heard this album. Nothing post-comeback feels the same.
Happy December 4th.

I've been listening to The Constantines a lot recently. So glad I revisited their albums ... and so sad they aren't really playing anymore.
Chase .... I'll admit - I was a little skeptical at first - I thought it was good, but nothing amazing. It took a few listens to sink in to realize its really good and to feel it in you.

Darren bailed on me tonight. Going to meet my boys at Manhattan Inn for piano karaoke with Joe McGuinty (Psychedelic Furs, Nada Surf).
Drinking some Bulleit before I leave the house, though, because I AM ABOUT TO OWN THIS!!!!

"Exile on Main street" from the Stones always satisfies. as does mid 1970's Neil Young (Zuma, On the Beach, Tonights the Night). also, Human Sexual Response and Lou Miami and the Kozmetics-both Boston bands from 25 years ago
The Beastie Boys are without peer. Awesome, the epitome, etc.
Probably not safe for work and not for kids.
