    Default Removing Grease Stains

Stopped by the bar to meet some friends last night. A block after hopping on my townie I realized I neglected to roll up my right leg. I now have grease stains all inside the leg of my new pants (arrived in the mail hours earlier - never even been washed).

Whats my best bet? Simple green? Mineral spirits? They're a pair of khaki dockers - cant use anything that might alter the color of the fabric.

Once, a rep from a clothing company told me to use Lestoil to clean a ski jacket from oil drips coming from chairlift pulleys. It might work for your khakis but it's quite strong

I always get grease stains on my jerseys, somehow. Some detergent or a stain spray - let it sit for a few minutes and then scrub it out with a brush or something. Also - simple green has worked in the past, but I usually use that in the washing machine.

Bike grease I usually leave because I like it.

Pizza grease is a lot more common, and goes immediately.

Citrus degreaser, cut with some water if you're afraid of fading the dye.

Pedros if you're feeling spendy, or I buy the generic stuff (Zap brand) at the hardware store by the gallon for about ten bucks.
