Ferrari has really taken the description of "body fenders like women's thighs" to a whole new level.

That front end reminds me of the Mazda mad clown look. Only better. That looks completely insane.
Women's thighs and insanity. Not a bad combination.
Between the wind tunnel and CFD cars are approaching generic proportions. That being said the Ferrari is gorgeous. Mega Millions purchasing motivator.

Sorry for the continued derail, but I get the idea that none of those guys, even Faust, are REAL car guys. Just listening to the Brits talk about cars it's painfully obvious that they have a REAL passion for cars. Even and probably especially James May. Captain Slow obviously really loves cars and KNOWS cars.

Ok, back on track...
Automobiles have been around long enough now that any attractive design will resemble something(s) from the past. The only way to be original is to go ugly. Like the Nissan Juke.
That Ferrari is beautiful.
Oh, hi there.
1956 Ferrari 250 GT Coupe Speciale
Got some cash
Bought some wheels
Took it out
'Cross the fields
Lost Control
Hit a wall
But we're alright
Faust may not seem to be a "real" car guy and I'm nowhere near his biggest fan but he can drive. Compare his performance to Pastrana or Block and there's no doubt he's the real deal well as far as US pilots goes.
I don't see the resemblance. I guess everything in life has to move on, but I think Ferrari had it nailed a couple of years ago. The mid-engined, v-8 cars cars were cool and modern. The v-12 GT cars were beautiful and pure. Now the Italia has curves that it doesn't need. This new v-12 has too much going on. I guess I'm getting old.
As to Top Gear USA, I love it! Tanner is the best. The way these guys are mean to each other reminds me of my college buds.
Corvette to me. Would not turn down driving one, but I prefer the lines of an Aston Martin
not in person
Pictures have never done justice...

are corvettes those things where the leaf springs go across the car?
Not all front engine, rear-drive, long-hooded cars look the same.
The Ferrari looks fantastic. Corvettes look...meh.
does anyone have current info on whether ferrari does (or would) manufacture its cars with a manual transmission? i know it has served many a f1 driver well, but the thought of driving a ferrari with paddle shifters isn't one that's going to make me want to plunk the $$ down; i'd much rather save a couple hundred grand and go with lesser porsche or bimmer.
