And this is the reason why my winter is so damn busy, my family have a "little" truffierre where the Tuber Melanosporum i.e. French Black Truffle lurks, ready to be sniffed out by our ever faithful hounds.

I keep telling myself I'll post here more often but I ALWAYS run out of time and it never happens.

Part of the shipment I recieved from Dazza the other day:
This went out to Thailand. The customer wanted a unique bike. I added a layer of colored carbon fiber to recreate the Thailand flag. This theme was used on the frame and AppleStem bar combo. There is red/blue carbon that flows along the top tube and seat stays up the seat tube. The custom AppleStem Handlebar was made to match the frame for a truly custom and unique package! More detail on the blog.

Move over Sizzlelean... here comes the bacon! This is bird is all 35 and 39 mm tubes with a sexy sweet seat mast. It was something I've been wanting to do for a year or so now and suddenly I've gotten a couple orders for them at nearly the same time. I guess the universe is a little crazy like that. Anyway, bike 2 from the new spray booth and I must say that I'm so thrilled to have the time and creative freedom to really pull off the scheme that I envisioned. Many thanks again to the peeps who've helped me get here.

Some before and after of a little custom paint work. Its hard to tell, but the white is "Hot Rod Sparkle White" that has a cool prism effect in the sun.
Thank you!

Man, this thread is always inspirational. (Or, in my case, aspirational since the killer work being done here gives me something to shoot for.)
Son of FrankenFrame came back from powdercoat looking pretty.

The powdercoat came out decent. Not perfect, but not bad looking either.

All built up and ready to ride. I gave her some Norwegian on the downtube in honor of my grandmother. I believe it says "good feelings."

Better late than never. We delivered the sweetest fendered road bike this week. Dura-ace with King R-45 rear hub, Supernova front hub and light. Built for long hard days in the saddle.
As always, there are a lot more pictures on our flickr page. Have a look.

Hopefully the baby will soon realize that her world isn't as confusing as she thinks it is and I can get back to bike work.
