Filing away at a fillet brazed Max frame for a local customer
Modified Llewellyn seat lug used as a seat tube reinforcement. I de-ovalised the Max tube on the ST end so it would sit nicely on the lug

Inspiring stuff as always folks- Thanks for sharing!
Here's a little something you won't see much of here on VS... A 24" bmx. Frame, fork and bars made here in Brooklyn from 100% USA sourced materials.
Frame is True Temper supertherm and good old fashioned Plymouth 4130, custom laser cut drop outs and all CNC bits (headtube and BB) made by Solid BMX in california.
Fork features a custom cnc'd steerer, custom laser cut drop outs and 4130 legs shaped right here in the garage. Bars were made 13 years ago when I first started working in bicycle manufacture, they had been gathering dust and I thought they really suited this project. Threw them in for free just to see them in a happy home. Good times indeed.
and some road action off to paint:
and a little cycling shin dig we had last night- you'll see FB's Johnny Coast and Jamie Swan in there...
That's all I've got- have a great weekend! I'm off to prep for the coming blizzard.

I'm still waiting to move the torches, surface plate and other assorted frame building bits into Will Outlaw Cycles Intergalatic Headquarters so I amused myself by building some wheels for wifey's commuter. I do love building wheels but one set every few years ain't enough to be good at it.

Dropped the fat bike frame off today, I'm (hopefully) starting a good relationship with a local film dip guy. I got a good vibe when I talked to him.
