Next time I promise to have painted and assembled bikes.
Cheers!
This is a fun one that I'm building for myself. When she's done she should be about 3lbs flat. Once she's completely built.... the saw will come back out!

Earlier this week I had a visit from a good friend and all around bike dude from Sydney, known to most as Spirito.
I gave him and hand finishing off a beautiful frame that he built in 2010, which needed braze ons and bridges.
This bike used a lot older components and braze ons than I am used to which was a fun and interesting experience, I really like the Mafac brakes that we were fitting, I can't wait to see how it builds up!
He also took some cool photos
The brass ended up softening, version 2.0 of this jig was made out of stainless, I may make some out of Ti to prevent filler sticking just in case
Posts haven't been cleaned up yet, but checking the fit on the brakes, room for 32c Grand Bois tyres and fenders
Checking everything sits snug before finishing the miter
Best gift I have received to date for my framebuilder services, suho meso cured beef. Wow!
