Seems to me that these applications are very user, terrain and load specific.

Perfect example of location and use specific. I've seen a bunch of those wheeling around DC hauling groceries and kids PERFECT.

Very utilitarian. Seems my list of "wants/needs" just keeps getting longer. Now I need a new trailer, a long tail, a tricycle, and a Bakfiets. I heart me some velocipedes.
