A maker’s perception, muscle memory, intuition, and mood contribute more to a finished piece than the pile of stuff he starts with.

This is 285 ft of Anco Tech tubing which I will use for seat stays on mtb's. This is the score of the decade (I say decade since they went out of business just over 10 years ago)

Finished another carbon road frame. This one is an update/replacement for carbon frame #1, the first rideable prototype. Neil put over 11,000km on it and it was time for an upgrade. This one is 100g lighter and has a proper finish with gloss on matte clear.

Frame #2 back from paint. I don't usually like internet bashing but I hope no one has to go through what I did. BEFORE YOU TAKE YOUR BIKE TO CLASS ACT in Portland, OR, here is my experience: Took 9 weeks when quoted 3, spider cracks in the clear, blast media in the paint around all the edges and crevasses, they missed a grey band that was supposed to be on the drive side chainstay (I even colored in a picture when I dropped it off), and they messed up my logo on the on side, It's missing the dot on the R. Didn't notice the "R" until I got home. I was so mad and over the project I just wanted to grab the bike and run... I guess I should have known to do an inspection. Didn't think I had to with a professional paint shop....Anyways /rant pictures...
Frame #4 cruising right along. Been a learning experience for sure. On a side note my bender works swimmingly!

Ok guys, we have been a little quiet here lately, but have been very busy. We wanted to do something for the 100th Tour, so in between building frames we have been preparing some films related to the stages. This will in the end result in a series of artworks created during these sessions.
