Guy came by the shop really looking for help. 26 years old, 400+ lbs. He drew a line in the sand & wants to change his life. Walking more than 15 mins is painful on his joints. He wants a bike thats easy to ride, capable of handling his weight. After he paid his deposit, I decided to do domething that I never, ever do. I bumped him to the front of the line. I'm very excited about building this guy something that will change his life :)
I'm going to the JT and Jay-Z concert tonight! (that's kind of a joke based on the Thursday Grump)
Rode my bike for the first time in 31 days!
Got my dog back yesterday!
Replace my bedroom TV today!
Wife is blowing all my bonus money on semi-cool things! - wait that should be a grump.
Auk's words to live by:
Blow up and pin a picture of M. Bartoli on your wall. When you achieve that position, stop. Until then, stretch, ride, stretch, ride, eat less, and ride more.
New car came in a week early. Goodbye CVT slushbox, hello manual transmission!

If you don't know about Large Fella on a Bike he's someone who was in your client's present shoes. You may want to pass along the link to him.
Large Fella on a Bike
I'm sure you've got a good plan on how to construct his frame nor do I want to step on anyone's toes but IIRC from a long ago Riv Reader Bob Brown built the bike and probably has some good ideas on how to proceed.
